OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health, and ensuring a comfortable experience for our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using medical imaging systems.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments using Eaglesoft or similar systems.
Assist in the management of patient flow within the dental office to ensure efficiency.
Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members in four-handed dentistry procedures.
Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a positive experience for younger patients.
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental practices.
Experience with medical records management is preferred.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental software systems is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not required.
