We are seeking a skilled Front Desk Patient Coordinator. The right candidate has a professional demeanor coupled with a very cordial presence. If you are a person who never meets a stranger, you might be a great candidate for this position. We are an owner led and managed professional dental practice. You will be working directly for the owner, a highly skilled 12 + year professional.
You are the first and last point of contact for our patients - so you play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations. Your key responsibilities are to ensure that every patient understands the diagnosed care and is scheduled appropriately for that care. In addition, every patient upon departure understands their next appointment time and date as well as their financial obligations for that appointment and has the documentation for that appointment- no surprises. This position requires experience in a dental or medical office setting and proficiency in computer systems and phone systems.
Duties: - Greet patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor - Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with inquiries - Check-in patients, collect necessary paperwork - Enter patient data accurately into computerized systems - Coordinate with dental providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and proofreading Experience: -
Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or Dental Assistant is highly preferred - Proficiency in computer literacy, including working with dental or medical software systems - Strong phone etiquette and ability to handle high call volumes - Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities We offer competitive pay based on experience.
