Children's Dental Center is seeking a full-time Scheduling Coordinator to be part of our amazing team! This role is a critical part of our practice and will work in a dedicated call-center area on the top floor of our office in central Sioux Falls.

Office Hours:

Monday: 7am – 5pm
Tuesday: 7am – 5pm
Wednesday: 7am – 1:30pm
Thursday: 7am – 5pm
Friday: 7am – 12pm

Responsibilities:

Answer incoming phone calls and schedule patients for dental treatment.
Triage and transfer phone calls as necessary.
Make outgoing phone calls to confirm patient appointments.
Update necessary documentation in patients’ charts.
Monitor the shared office email and respond to inquiries.
Communicate with external dental offices and handle patient referrals to our practice.
Additional duties as needed such as following up with patients, transferring records, and other necessary tasks related to scheduling.

Job type: full-time
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Salary: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour

Requirements:

Preferred at least 1 year of experience in a dental office setting.
Must communicate effectively and demonstrate a passion for customer service.
Must have a positive, upbeat attitude and display a commitment to helping teammates.
Compassionate and caring attitude toward patients and parents.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with electronic health records/patient management systems preferred.
Must arrive on time and adhere to the attendance policy.
