Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Los Angeles, CA

Supporting Health, Smiles, and Human Connection
About Us:
We’re a private, patient-focused dental office committed to delivering care that’s honest, detailed, and rooted in kindness.
At City of Angels Dentistry, we don’t rush patients through. We slow down, listen, and treat every person with the kind of care we’d give to our own family. That same respect extends to our team — we support each other, we communicate openly, and we take pride in what we do.
The Role:
We’re hiring an experienced Dental Assistant who’s passionate about creating great experiences for patients and is eager to be part of a team that works closely, communicates openly, and believes in excellent customer service.
You’ll work directly with the doctor during procedures, help patients feel comfortable, and take initiative to keep our clinical flow running smoothly. If you’re reliable, detail-oriented, and love being part of something bigger than yourself, we want to meet you.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist the doctor during exams and procedures with speed, clarity, and calm
- Support patients before, during, and after treatment — helping them feel safe, heard, and cared for
- Prepare and sterilize rooms and instruments with precision and intention
- Anticipate needs: have what the doctor needs before they ask
- Efficiently take X-rays, 3d oral scans, and help manage records and charting with accuracy
- Communicate with the front team and hygienists to maintain smooth patient flow
- Notice the small things: Is the patient cold? Are they nervous? Did they mention something personal we should follow up on later?
- Assist in scheduling appointments, collecting payment from patients, and occassional administrative tasks
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 1 year Dental Assistant experience
- A calm, confident presence with patients — especially when they’re anxious
- Strong work ethic: you show up on time, stay focused, and help without being asked
- A team player who notices when others are overwhelmed and jumps in to help
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn — even when something is hard at first
- Attention to detail, high standards, and pride in your work
- Dedication to help the team and practice grow and to achieve shared goals
What We Offer:
- Paid time off
- A team that works together, not against each other
- Support, training
- Bonus pay program
- A practice that puts people first — and expects excellence, not just speed
Hours:
Tuesday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm,
