Dental Assistant - Dental Connections Inc. - Kirkland, WA

Mon & Tues 7-4, Wed 8-5 & Thurs 7-1. Open to full or part time
$30-$36/hr DOE

This position will require patient care and support, go over procedures with patients, making sure each patient is comfortable, taking and recording vital signs and medical histories. Will be required to assist the dentist during exams and procedures (four-handed dentistry), hand instruments and materials to the dentist and retract patient’s oral tissues and maintain a clear working area. Must be able to take and develop dental X-rays and ensure proper use of protective equipment and radiographic techniques. Responsible for sterilization & infection control, sterilizing instruments and disinfect treatment areas while always following OSHA and CDC protocols for infection prevention. Must be able to mix dental materials (impressions, cements etc.) Pour models and assist with lab tasks. Chart dental procedures and treatment notes accurately and must maintain up-to-date patient records and consent forms.
Seeking a dental assistant with a positive attitude and the ability to be flexible to help wherever they are needed. Must be able to work on a team and provide top care to patients.
This is a small but mighty practice! Great, reliable team with community-focused dental care. Eaglesoft is used in the office. 1 DDS 2 RDH 1 EFDA 2 FO and 1 DA with the longest tenured employee is at 5 years.
Position is available due to the need for an additional team member to better serve their patients.
