Dental Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting our back office operations by ensuring treatment rooms are meticulously prepared, maintaining seamless organization, and facilitating clear communication between clinical and front office staff upon procedure completion. This role also requires the ability to confidently assist in complex dental and major surgical procedures. Responsibilities:

- Assist in root canal treatments, surgical extractions and implant surgery.

- Take preliminary impressions before crown preparations, make temporary crowns and seat temporary crowns accurately.

- Familiar with iTero Scanning.

- Able to perform in chair teeth whitening (ZOOM & Opalascence Boost) independently and assist with Invisalign attachments.

- Perform Full Mouth X-rays, panoramic X-rays and CT scans, prioritizing patient comfort and safety.

- Ensure instruments are sterilized and ready for following day.

- Ensure treatment rooms are efficiently set up and shut down.

- Maintain patient records and assist with documentation.

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.

- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure exceptional patient care.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in dental assisting, preferably in surgical procedures.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in dental practice management software (e.g., OPEN DENTAL).

Team-oriented with a proactive approach to professional growth.

Schedule:

• 8-9 hour shift
• Monday- Friday
• 9am-6pm
