Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with dentists to ensure optimal patient outcomes and contribute to a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments to maintain patients' oral health.
• Utilize dental terminology effectively while communicating with patients and staff.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.
• Assist in the diagnosis of oral diseases by examining patients' gums and teeth, taking X-rays, and documenting findings.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental software, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
• Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment during procedures.
• Stay informed about advancements in general dentistry practices and incorporate them into patient care.

Experience

• A degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program is required.
• Previous experience in a dental practice is mandatory
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort are necessary for success in this role.
