Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. In this role, you will work closely with dentists and hygienists to provide high-quality patient care and ensure efficient clinical operations. Your responsibilities will include preparing and organizing treatment rooms, assisting during procedures, sterilizing instruments, taking dental x-rays, managing patient records, and providing post-operative care instructions.

You should be detail-oriented, dependable, and have a calm and friendly demeanor. A strong focus on patient comfort, safety, and cleanliness is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures

• Set up and break down treatment rooms before and after procedures

• Sterilize and prepare instruments and equipment

• Take and process dental x-rays (if certified)

• Maintain accurate patient records and charts

• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care

• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Dental Assistant certification (as required by state)

• X-ray certification (preferred or as required)

• Prior experience in a dental office is a plus

• Excellent communication and multitasking skills
