Salary: $110,000-$130,000 annually plus performance bonuses
Location: Summerlin, Las Vegas
Type: Full-Time RDH
Schedule: 8 hour shift

Duties

Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and oral examinations
Conduct dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth using appropriate tools and techniques
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits
Maintain accurate medical records and document all patient interactions in compliance with clinic protocols
Assist with medical coding for insurance claims as needed
Utilize medical imaging technologies to capture diagnostic images for evaluation by the dentist
Implement infection control procedures and maintain a clean, safe working environment following aseptic techniques
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist
Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques is preferred
Familiarity with medical terminology and systems relevant to dental practice
Experience in a dental clinic setting is advantageous
Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques is essential
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
Ability to manage patient records accurately, including familiarity with medical coding practices
