Responsibilities

Provide four-handed clinical assistance during various dental procedures (fills, crowns, extractions, sealants, IV sedation, etc.)
Prepare and disinfect operatories, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, safe environment
Take dental X‑rays (bitewings, pans, intraoral), in accordance with Ohio radiology protocols
Take impressions, shade matching, digital scans, and fabricate temporaries as needed
Maintain accurate patient records, charting, and case documentation. Educate patients on oral hygiene, post‑op care, and procedure expectations .
Operate 3D scanners for imaging as required.
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care and support.

Qualifications

Proven experience in dental assisting, preferably in a general & cosmetic dentistry setting.
Knowledge of infection control protocols and best practices.
Familiarity with medical documentation processes and standards.
Proficiency in taking medical imaging, including X-rays.
Experience with dental receptionist duties is a plus.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with children and families.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant qualifications preferred.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
