Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) - Watermark Dentistry - Seattle, WA

Shape smiles and change lives! We are a one dentist owned family dental practice seeking a passionate RDA to join a patient-centered practice.
Overview:A Seattle (Normandy Park) dental practice is looking for an experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). The practice is focused on patient care and aims to provide a supportive environment. The ideal candidate should work well with a team and have at least two years of experience. They should also be able to multitask and be committed to excellent patient care.
Office Hours:
Mon - Wed: 8-5pm, Thurs: 7:30-2:30 (staff arrive 20 mins prior)
Approx 1 Friday/Month for about 3-4 hours
Responsibilities:

Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures (restorative, cosmetic, surgical, etc.).
Prepare patients for treatments, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Take and record patient medical and dental histories, vital signs, and dental charting.
Take radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral photos, adhering to safety protocols.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, following infection control guidelines.
Instruct patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
Maintain and restock treatment areas, monitoring inventory levels and placing orders as required.
Perform other duties assigned by the dentist, within the scope of the Washington State dental laws.

Qualifications:

Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in Washington.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant.
Dentrix & knowledge of both front and back office preferred, but not a must.
Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively.
Proven record as a team player with good communication skills.
Strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology.
Knowledge of dental imaging techniques and equipment, including digital and intraoral cameras.
Ability to maintain accurate patient records and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Proficiency in utilizing dental software and other office management tools.
