Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment. This role involves diagnosing and treating dental issues, educating patients on oral health, and collaborating with a team of dental professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Duties

Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health conditions.
Provide a range of treatments including preventive care, restorative procedures, and oral surgery as needed.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Fabricate dental appliances and prosthetics, ensuring accuracy and quality in all work.
Maintain thorough medical documentation for each patient visit in accordance with practice protocols.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to optimize patient care.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.

Requirements

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Experience in various areas of dentistry including endodontics, prosthodontics, pediatrics, and oral surgery is preferred.
Proficiency in using Dentrix software for patient management is a plus.
Strong understanding of infection control standards and medical documentation practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating leadership qualities when necessary.
