Patient Care Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Front Office Patient Care Coordinator/Insurance Coordinator. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice by providing exceptional support to both patients and staff. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage various administrative tasks efficiently.

Duties

• Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
• Manage front desk operations, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling patient inquiries.
• Manage all hygiene openings in the schedule
• Conduct insurance verification and assist patients with understanding their benefits.
• Manage hygiene reactivation system and follow up on all scheduling lists
• Appointment confirmations
• Check and manage office email and voicemail
• Keep front office neat and tidy
• Treatment plan presentations for doctors when needed

Experience

• Previous experience in a dental office is mandatory
• Familiarity with dental codes and billing procedures is mandatory
• Proficiency in using dental software is needed
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
