Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hygiene Coordinator to join our specialty dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in being the first interaction with patients for our practice. Our mission is to provide an exceptional experience to patients in an efficient and kind manner. Compensation range is listed and will be based on experience. Responsibilities This role consists of completing the necessary referral or initial appointment intake via phone as well as proper check in of patients to include new patient paperwork, consents, update of medical history, as well as collecting for procedures. You will manage the hygiene schedule by confirming appointments and ensuring scheduled to goal each day. Multitasking is a must in this role as we are a very busy specialty office. Our office hours are Monday - Thursday. Ability to be flexible in traveling to alternate locations with advance notice as needed is a must. The ideal candidate will have a hunger for personal and professional development, a working knowledge of dental terminology, dental insurance, and dental treatment and the ability to effectively communicate and educate this information to our patients. A minimum of 2 years of dental administrative experience is preferred and cross training is a plus.
