Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Mondays 9-5 and/or Wednesdays 9-5. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control, and patient assessment to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a general dentistry setting. Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Reviewing Medical Histories Take and review x-rays. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Ensure the sterilization of instruments and adherence to aseptic techniques. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care and support. Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control protocols. Requirements Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred. Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is a plus. Strong skills in chairside patient care are essential. Ability to effectively communicate with patients and provide compassionate care.
