Part-time Registered Dental Hygienist Family oriented general practice in Winchester seeks an experienced Registered Dental Hygienist to work 1-2 days a week. We are in a great location, offer flexible hours and have a friendly, supportive staff. Responsibilities Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination Perform initial patient screenings and review patients’ medical history Provide oral prophylaxis, removing tartar, plaque and stains and apply fluoride treatments Take and develop radiographs, intraoral images and dental impressions Maintain accepted standards of asepsis including scrubbing and sterilizing hygiene instruments Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis and perform oral cancer screenings Educate patients of all ages on proper oral health and preventative care Document and maintain accurate patient records including the proper tracking of treatment plans Qualifications Current Massachusetts Dental Hygiene license Valid CPR certification 5 plus years of experience preferred Job Type: Part-time Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications Work Location: In person
