Registered Dental Hygienist - Waldorf Periodontics and Implants - Waldorf, MD

Duties: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth - Take and develop dental x-rays - Conduct oral health assessments and screenings - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for home care - Administer local anesthesia - Document patient treatment plans, progress, and notes in electronic dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic - Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist - Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic - Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures is preferred - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and dental team members - Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records - Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced dental office environment Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
