We are a "startup" dental office located in North Brunswick, NJ , About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to support our clinical team. You will ensure efficient patient flow, maintain strict sterilization standards, and provide high-quality chairside assistance to deliver a comfortable patient experience. Key Responsibilities: Chairside Assisting: Assist the dentist during procedures (fillings, crowns, extractions). Patient Preparation: Seat patients, review medical history, and ensure they are comfortable. Sterilization: Clean and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms according to OSHA and CDC infection control protocols. Imaging: Take and process digital X-rays Records: Update patient charts and treatment notes accurately in our practice management software. L Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program (preferred). - Current X-ray certification and CPR/BLS certification. - Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor. - Order supplies and participate in the smooth functioning of the office.
