Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Miller Place, NY
Overview: In this role, youâll be an important member of the clinical team, working alongside GPs and other Specialty Clinicians dedicated to serving patients. Youâll be supporting many sides of the practice, greeting and guiding patients, and helping out across the office as needed. Schedule (days/hours): M9am-6pm,T 9am5pm 1x/month,W11am-8pm 3x/month ,TH 9am-6pm FR 9am-2pm, Sat 9am-2pm Responsibilities: Preparing patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures Helping to educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies Improving oral health, solving dental challenges and bettering smiles every day Qualifications: CDA/DANB CPR Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment (e.g. RDA, CDA, EFDA, state registration, or equivalent as required by the state) Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care Compensation: $23-$27 / HR About: Benefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off (âPTOâ), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.
