About Us : We are a growing dental practice in Everett, MA, seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant who is fluent in Portuguese to join our team. We serve a diverse community and are specifically looking to fill this position to better cater to the needs of our Portuguese-speaking patients. If you’re passionate about dental care and want to make a meaningful impact, we’d love to meet you! We are looking for an energetic dental assistant to join our team! Someone with a formally trained license is preferred but we can offer on the job training if needed. The office hours are as follows: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and 2 Saturdays a month 9am-3pm. One day during the week will be given off. Key Responsibilities : Assist the dentist during various dental procedures (cleanings, fillings, extractions, etc.) Sterilize dental instruments and maintain a clean and safe environment Take and develop X-rays (if certified) Prepare and organize treatment rooms Manage patient records Ensure smooth patient flow and provide excellent customer service Provide assistance in managing the office and handling administrative tasks as needed What We are Looking For: Professional, courteous with clear communication skills Someone who enjoys treating children Computer savvy Proactive and eager to learn Must be available to work Saturdays Chair-side assisting (4 handed dentistry) Superb radiographic technique Room / instrument set-up, sterilization, and turn over Lab case processing Willing to learn expanded assisting techniques Requirements : Fluency in Portuguese (Required for this position) Formally trained or Certified assistant. We can train but licensed dental assistant preferred.
