Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry and be committed to providing exceptional patient care. This role requires proficiency in various dental procedures, including pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and endodontics. The Associate Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to ensure a comfortable and effective treatment experience for all patients. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine treatment needs Perform a wide range of dental procedures, including but not limited to general dentistry, dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix for patient management and record-keeping Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry approach to enhance patient care efficiency Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices to provide the best possible care Requirements Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution Valid state dental license with no restrictions on practice Experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics is preferred Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards Join our team where you can make a difference in patients' lives while advancing your career in a supportive environment.
