We are seeking a Lead Dental Assistant to join our high-performing endodontic practice in New York City. This hybrid role is ideal for a professional who thrives on both the clinical and administrative sides of dentistry. S omeone who enjoys organizing systems, supporting the team, working closely with our COO and ensuring the day runs smoothly while being ready to assist chair side when needed. Key Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate daily clinical and administrative operations to maintain an efficient workflow. Support the doctor chair side during endodontic procedures, demonstrating strong four-handed dentistry skills. Prepare and maintain operatories, sterilization areas, and supplies according to infection control protocols. Manage ordering and inventory of dental materials and office supplies. Maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards. Assist with scheduling, patient communication, and coordination of referrals as needed. Train, mentor, and support other team members to ensure consistency and quality across the practice. Requirements 2+ years of dental assisting experience (endodontic experience preferred). Strong organizational and communication skills with leadership potential or prior lead experience. Ability to multitask and adapt between administrative and clinical duties. Proficiency in Dentrix Ascend and Dexis preferred. Positive attitude, reliability, and a professional demeanor are a must.
