Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Take digital dental X-rays, as well as perform medical imaging when necessary. Manage patient records, including medical documentation and medical coding, while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Monitor vital signs as needed during procedures to ensure patient safety. Utilize 3D scanners for precise dental imaging when required. Maintain an organized inventory of dental supplies and equipment. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental clinic setting. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques is essential. Ability to perform chairside assisting duties effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
