General Dentist - Merit Modern Dental - Sachse, TX

Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry, with experience in oral surgery, implant dentistry, endodontics, cosmetic and Invisalign treatment being highly desirable. As a Dentist, you will provide high-quality patient care, perform various dental procedures, and ensure the comfort and satisfaction of our patients. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans. Perform a range of dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide comprehensive patient care. Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies. Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques, including proficiency in software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid dental license to practice in the state of employment. Experience in pediatric, implant, oral surgery, endo is preferred but not required. Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, medical terminology, and medical imaging is essential. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort. Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is advantageous. Ability to work effectively within a team environment while also demonstrating independent decision-making skills.
