Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental team. Responsibilities Assist dentist during examinations and procedures, including chairside assisting in various specialties such as general and cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, and prosthodontics Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use Perform X-rays and other diagnostic imaging as required, adhering to safety protocols Manage patient records accurately while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Educate patients on post-treatment care Take vital signs and document medical history as part of the patient intake process Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic environment, following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Qualifications 5 years of previous experience in dental assisting is required Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices is essential Ability to perform chairside assisting effectively Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with patients of all ages.
