Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in various dental procedures. The Registered Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to ensure a positive experience for our patients while adhering to all safety and health regulations. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs Perform dental cleanings and apply preventive materials as needed Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient documentation and record management Provide education to patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Ensure infection control protocols are followed, including aseptic techniques Collaborate with the dental team to deliver exceptional pediatric dentistry care Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnostics Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical coding practices Requirements Valid state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist Experience in a dental office or clinic setting preferred Familiarity with EMR systems and documentation review processes Knowledge of general dentistry practices, pediatric dentistry, and chairside assisting techniques Strong understanding of infection control measures and aseptic techniques Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism Join our team of dedicated professionals where your skills will contribute to the health and well-being of our patients!
