Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in New York, NY
Our friendly, small office is looking for a motivated, proactive hygienist to treat our very loyal patients and promote optimal optimal oral health. The available days are , Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 9:00 - 5:00. Prospective applicants should be able to perform the following duties: Conducting initial patient screenings, EIOE, periodontal charting, prophylaxis treatment, scaling/root planing, identifying areas for the administration of subgingival therapies like Arestin, and identifying areas of concern and need for treatment like Invisalign, Botox for TMD and restorative treatment. You should be savvy with intra-oral scanners and be able to administer local anesthesia, in-office whitening, customized whitening trays, sealants, etc., and be proficient in advising patients on oral health and preventive care. You will collaborating with the dentist(s) on treatment plans, and will be the first point of contact for dentifrices and other oral health tools sold in the office..
