Overview Riverbend Dental, 1285 Wallace Rd. NW, Salem, OR 97304 (located in Polk County) Are you a new or seasoned dental hygienist looking for a new opportunity? Our West Salem practice is expanding and needs your expertise. Join us full-time Monday-Thursday. The ideal candidate will be passionate about both oral and general health and providing exceptional patient care. Become an important part of a team which works together and is supportive. Qualifications - Current Oregon Dental Hygiene License - Nitrous Oxide Sedation a plus Responsibilities - Conduct exceptional periodontal therapy for patients of all ages- Co-manage patients with the dentist as a TEAM - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and how they affect our overall health - Perform dental charting and take patient medical histories with the help of our amazing dental assistants. Yes, you actually get help on EVERY patient! - Take digital radiographs - We have a sterilization tech and dental assistants to take care of room turnover - NO ROOM TURNOVER - Update and maintain patient dental records - our software is Daisy, but we will soon be changing to Open Dental. YOU DICTATE APPOINTMENT DURATION - YOU UNDERSTAND HOW LONG IT TAKES TO TAKE EXCEPTIONAL CARE OF EACH PATIENT - YOU ARE THE PROFESSIONAL!! Skills - Strong understanding of infection control protocols. Asepsis cannot be negotiated. - Skilled in dental documentation (Daisy is the software - Changing to Open Dental) BONUS - We have a robust bonus system which has a significant ability to raise your income.
