Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Mount Laurel, NJ
Ellis Orthodontics is looking for a friendly, motivated, and skilled Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Mt. Laurel! Qualifications (per NJ state requirements) To work as an Orthodontic Assistant in New Jersey, candidates must have: CDA, RDA, or COA certification Certified Dental Radiographer license If necessary, we may consider a CDA who is working toward obtaining required certifications. Candidates coming from Pennsylvania must hold an Expanded Functions certification. Key Responsibilities Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Working closely with patients and maintaining strong communication with both patients and team members regarding treatment progress Assisting the doctor chairside and taking initiative as an independent self-starter Performing intraoral adjustments and preparing patients for banding and bonding Assisting with Invisalign treatment, including bonding attachments and patient instruction Removing braces and taking x-rays, photographs, and iTero scans Taking impressions for appliances and fabricating retainers, night guards, and mouthguards Maintaining sterilization and treatment room readiness Utilizing practice management software ( Orthotrac experience is a plus, but weâre happy to train!)
