Overview Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. Full time hours are available but we are flexible and Part-time work is still possible. Please inquire if interested! Duties Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. Utilize Dentrix software for managing patient records and scheduling appointments. Apply aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment for patients. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist in the preparation of treatment rooms and maintain cleanliness according to infection control standards. Perform medical imaging procedures as needed to support diagnostic assessments. Maintain accurate medical records and document patient care activities in compliance with regulations. Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized care plans for patients Requirements Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology. Experience with Dentrix software is preferred but not required. Knowledge of infection control procedures and aseptic techniques. Strong patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations, including children in pediatric dentistry.
