Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in various dental procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, patient assessment, and infection control protocols. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with both patients and the dental team to ensure a comfortable and efficient experience. Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. Perform patient assessments, Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options. Implement aseptic techniques to ensure infection control within the clinic. Collaborate with the dental team to deliver comprehensive patient care in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry settings. Qualifications Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred. Familiarity with Eaglesoft is a plus Proficient in medical coding and documentation review processes. Ability to perform effective patient care while adhering to infection control standards. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and comfort.
