We are looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist/New Patient Coordinator to join our growing team. Responsibilities Ensure that patients feel comfortable Sterilize dental instruments properly Conduct oral cancer screenings and evaluate health history Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis Clean and help protect patients’ teeth Educate patients of all ages on proper oral care Provide instructions to patients after dental procedures Take X-rays, dental impressions, intraoral photos, and intraoral digital scans Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Monitor supplies Skills Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA) Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment Outstanding communication skills A patient and friendly personality Attention to detail Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job Diploma in Dental Hygiene Valid license to practice Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Retirement plan Work Location: In person
