Overview We are seeking a MOTIVATED and dedicated Dental Receptionist and Treatment coordinator to join our dynamic team. We are an EXPANDING and GROWING DENTAL OFFICE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring smooth administrative processes within our dental practice. This role requires a blend of strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in various medical and dental software systems. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently. Schedule and confirm patient appointments using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Treatment Plan Coordination to explain fees to the patients. Admin assist as needed. Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered. Verify insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims processing. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Conduct medical billing and coding tasks, including CDT coding. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness before submission. Process payments and manage medical collections as necessary. Assist in the preparation of care plans and maintain organized medical records. software systems such as Dentrix Ascend for efficient office management. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while managing multi-line phone systems. Provide clerical support including filing, typing, and data entry tasks as needed. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar medical office role is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology, dental terminology, and health information management is essential. Proficiency in EHR systems such as Dentrix is highly desirable. Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office applications required. Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10) and CPT coding is beneficial. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance patient communication.
