About Us Join Dental Sleep Experts of CT, a patientâcentered holistic dental practice dedicated to treating the whole personânot just their teeth. We integrate the best of conventional dental care in an airway focused approached. Your role is critical in delivering exceptional hygiene care while supporting our mission of wellness, education, and compassion. What You'll Do Perform comprehensive hygiene cleanings, including prophylaxis, scaling, polishing, and periodontal maintenance. Conduct thorough oral health assessments, including periodontal charting and oral cancer screenings. Take and interpret dental xârays, CBCT scans, and intraoral photos as needed. Administer local anesthesia. Educate patients on holistic oral-care strategies, including nutrition, sleep, airway health, natural remedies, stress management, and systemic wellness. Use advanced tools and natural therapiesâe.g. soft-tissue lasers, digital imaging, and probioticsâto enhance diagnostic and healing processes. Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation via our practice management software. Uphold stringent infection control and sterilization protocols in accordance with ADA/CDC/OSHA standards. Contribute as a coâprovider in a collaborative, respectful, and supportive dental team. Required Qualifications Ability to work on Wednesdays from 9AM-6PM. Option to work Fridays 7AM-3PM. Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). Completion of an accredited Dental Hygiene program. CPR/BLS certification; radiography certification required; local anesthesia licensing a plus. Proficiency with dental software. Strong communication, manual dexterity, attention to detail, and an educational mindset. A compassionate, holistic outlook on patient care, and a genuine interest in integrative health.
