Responsibilities: Provide gentle, thorough dental cleanings and preventive care for pediatric patients and patients with special health care needs. Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms following safety and infection control protocols. Take digital X-rays as needed for treatment planning. Help create a calm, fun, and welcoming environment for young patients. Provide scaling and polishing and educate children and parents on oral hygiene, preventative care, and post-treatment instructions in an engaging way. Maintain accurate patient records and charting in a paperless system.
