Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Woodmere, NY
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists in providing high-quality dental care to patients. Schedule : Monday 9-5pm Tuesday 9-8pm Wednesday 9-1pm Thursday 8-4pm Responsibilities - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs - Take dental x-rays - Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care - Maintain accurate patient records Qualifications - Proficiency in Eaglesoft dental software - Knowledge of cone beam machine - Understanding of dental anatomy - Experience with 3D scanners is a plus - Familiarity with dental terminology - Knowledge in general dentistry, and pediatric dentistry Job Type: Part-time Benefits: 401(k) Paid time off Experience: Dental assisting: 3 years (Required) Ability to Commute: Woodmere, NY 11598 (Required) Work Location: In person Job Type: Part-time Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 per week Benefits: 401(k) Paid time off Work Location: In person
