What youâll do Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques for optimal efficiency. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for each appointment. Take X-rays. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using Open Dental Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote better health outcomes. Perform vital sign checks and assist with medical imaging as needed during patient evaluations. Uphold infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment. Basic qualifications Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures is essential. Experience with pediatric dentistry is highly desirable, as you will work with young patients regularly. Preferred qualifications . Previous experience in general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, or other specialized fields is beneficial. Proficiency in using 3D scanners and other advanced dental technology is a plus.
