Experienced Dental Assistant

We are especially interested in candidates who are X-ray certified and have experience in temporary crown preparation. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dedicated to excellent patient care, and thrives in a team-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist chairside during a variety of dental procedures
• Take digital X-rays (must hold valid Maryland X-ray certification)
• Fabricate temporary crowns (anterior and posterior)
• Collect and document medical histories, vital signs, and dental data
• Prepare and maintain clean and organized treatment rooms and instruments
• Support pre- and post-operative patient care
• Communicate effectively with patients to ensure a smooth, comfortable experience
• Adhere to clinical safety protocols and maintain patient confidentiality

Qualifications:

• Maryland Dental Radiation Technologist License (Required)
• X-ray Certification (Required)
• 1+ year of dental assisting experience (Required)
• Experience with temporary crown fabrication preferred
• Spanish language skills
• Dentrix experience is a plus
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
