We are especially interested in candidates who are X-ray certified and have experience in temporary crown preparation. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dedicated to excellent patient care, and thrives in a team-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist chairside during a variety of dental procedures
- Take digital X-rays (must hold valid Maryland X-ray certification)
- Fabricate temporary crowns (anterior and posterior)
- Collect and document medical histories, vital signs, and dental data
- Prepare and maintain clean and organized treatment rooms and instruments
- Support pre- and post-operative patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients to ensure a smooth, comfortable experience
- Adhere to clinical safety protocols and maintain patient confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Maryland Dental Radiation Technologist License (Required)
- X-ray Certification (Required)
- 1+ year of dental assisting experience (Required)
- Experience with temporary crown fabrication preferred
- Spanish language skills
- Dentrix experience is a plus
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
