Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) - Dr. Alexia R. Lucero D.D.S - Sunnyvale, CA

We are a well established, boutique, private practice . If you are passionate about taking great care of people , and excited to be part of a fun, supportive, no drama team, this is your dental home. 1 hour per patient, 1 hour per quadrant of Root Planning. If you have a great bedside manner and are looking to be part of a great team with wonderful patients, we’d love to meet you. We work M-Th, no Fridays, no Saturdays. Responsibilities Prophys, Scaling and Root Planning Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible Sterilize dental instruments properly Conduct initial mouth screenings and check health history Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride), 1 hour per patient Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques) Take X-rays using Dexis Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer) Maintain documentation and charting on each patient using DENTRIX Skills In-depth knowledge of hygiene Outstanding communication skills A patient and friendly personality Attention to detail Desire to take care of people Diploma in Dental Hygiene Valid license to practice Laser Certified a plus.
