Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental team. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Take and process dental X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Document patient information accurately . Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring all necessary materials are available for procedures. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment that adheres to HIPAA regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assisting program is preferred. Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is highly desirable, particularly in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, or endodontics. Proficiency in Dentrix; familiarity is a plus. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, vital signs, medical imaging, and infection control practices. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
