Dental Assistant - Chesapeake Pediatric Dental Group - Perry Hall, MD

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled X-ray Certified Dental Assistant to join our pediatric dental practice. The ideal candidate will assist the multiple dentists during a variety of treatment procedures, including Oral Conscious Sedation & Nitrous Oxide procedures, while maintaining excellent patient care. Duties: - Prepare patients for dental procedures - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures - Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies - Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) - Manage inventory and supplies in the dental office - Perform various office tasks as needed Qualifications: - Completion of a dental assistant program or relevant certification - X-ray certification required - CPR/BLS required - Proficiency in Curve software is a plus - Strong knowledge of dental terminology and documentation - Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide great patient care in a fast paced environment Skills: - Familiarity with dental imaging systems - Proficient in patient assessment and assisting techniques - Knowledge of aseptic technique in a dental setting - Ability to take vital signs accurately - Competence in handling dental records and documentation If you are a dedicated Dental Assistant with a passion for patient care and possess the required qualifications, we invite you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
