We are looking for a new or an experienced Registered Dental Hygienist to join our family-oriented dental practice. Qualifications for the Registered Dental Hygienist Must have a current Dental Hygiene license for the State of Virginia Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene required (Bachelor’s preferred) Ability to administer local anesthetic preferred Must be detail oriented, compassionate, and have good interpersonal skills Responsibilities/Duties for the Registered Dental Hygienist Provide dental hygiene services for patients of all ages Instruct/educate patients on preventive dental care Administer local anesthetic (preferred) Review/update patient medical histories Take radiographs and iTero scans Assess patients' oral health and report findings to dentists Document patient care and treatment plans in detail Perform periodontal therapy as needed Maintain/sterilize dental equipment/instruments Current CPR certification required Basic understanding and knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $48.00 - $100.00 per hour Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week Benefits: Employee assistance program Employee discount Flexible schedule Professional development assistance License/Certification: Registered Dental Hygienist (Required) Dental License (Required) Work Location: In person
