Employees who work four days a week get eight hours of holiday pay, while those who work three days a week receive six hours. After one year, you'll also earn a week of paid vacation. Dental Care : We provide free dental care for employees, with the exception of lab costs. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate recommendations for treatment Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care techniques Assist with pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a positive experience for young patients Monitor vital signs and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety Stay updated on dental terminology, medical coding, and documentation review processes Experience Previous experience is preferred, with familiarity in Open Dental software being a plus Knowledge of anatomy, infection control practices, and general dentistry principles is essential Strong understanding of patient assessment procedures and patient care best practices Join our team as a Dental Hygienist at Downriver Smiles, where you can make a meaningful impact on patients' oral health while working in a supportive environment that values professional growth.
