Dental Assistant Salary from $22 per hour Shift Hours: Monday through Thursdays 9am-5pm Fridays 9am to noon One dentist office One location Graduation from Dental Assistant Program required Proof of X-ray certification and sterilization of dental instruments training required. CPR, Hipaa and Bloodborne courses provided. NO CHAIRSIDE ASSISTING FRONT DESK DUTIES-WILL BE TRAINED INCLUDING: Greeting Patients Answering the phone Making appointments Insurance verification and filing Entering payments Sterilization Protocols: Proof of graduation from a Dental Assistant Program that provided sterilization of dental instruments and dental surfaces training. Set up and breakdown rooms between patients. You must have been trained in sterilization protocols through your dental assistant program. Other duties as needed.
