Responsibilities Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterilized according to infection control protocols. Operate dental imaging equipment such as X-ray machines and 3D scanners to capture accurate diagnostic images while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment by following infection control standards and ensuring all dental tools are properly sterilized and stored. Collaborate with the team to enhance efficiency during procedures. Stay updated on current best practices in dental assisting, including digital imaging. Qualifications 2-5 years experience working in a dental clinic is preferred. Strong knowledge of infection control protocols, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures. Experience operating dental X-ray equipment and understanding of radiology safety standards. Ability to perform basic medical imaging tasks. Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and technical aspects of chairside assisting.
