Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional care. Duties Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients. Assess patient oral health and provide appropriate recommendations. Document patient medical history and maintain accurate medical records. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care. Assist with chairside procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow during treatments. Perform vital signs checks and assist in medical imaging when necessary. Maintain infection control protocols and adhere to aseptic techniques. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care. Stay updated on dental terminology, procedures, and best practices. Skills Proficient in using dental software such as Eaglesoft. Experience in adult dentistry and familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and dental terminology. Ability to perform patient assessments and provide comprehensive patient care. Knowledge of infection control practices within a dental setting. Previous experience in a dental office or clinic is preferred. Skills in documentation review, medical coding, and maintaining HIPAA compliance are essential.
