## Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and oral hygiene services to our patients, ensuring their dental health is maintained at the highest level. ## Responsibilities - Perform dental cleanings and present hygiene treatment plans - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care - Take and develop dental x-rays (Panoramic, FMX, CBCT). - Maintain accurate patient records (enter codes for services performed) - Sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Conduct preliminary dental exams and assessments - Schedules patients for their next appointment (in the chair or over the phone/email) ## Experience - Required skills: Periodontics for the Dental Hygienist, Dental Hygiene coding, Dental imaging, Infection control, Dental terminology - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, EXCELLENT ENGLISH is a must. - Ability to work independently, self motivated. - Interest in the latest hygiene instruments a plus (someone who wants to improve and transform our hygiene into the latest and greatest tech in Jacksonville) - At least one year experience as a Dental Hygienist (two years preferred). - Attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team environment Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Paid time off License/Certification: Registered Dental Hygienist (Required) Ability to Commute: Jacksonville, FL 32257 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Jacksonville, FL 32257: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
