Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform thorough dental cleanings, and support the overall health and well-being of our patients. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly, patient-focused environment with a commitment to excellence in dental care. Experience with Dentrix and orthodontics is preferred, along with bilingual skills to serve our diverse patient community. Thursdays and Fridays, and 1st and 3rd Saturdays. Responsibilities Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup Take and develop dental radiographs as needed Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or other dental software Provide support for orthodontic treatments and pediatric patients when necessary Ensure a clean and sterile environment in compliance with infection control protocols Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow Qualifications Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations Prior experience in a dental office setting is highly preferred Proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental management software Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology is advantageous Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills to educate patients about oral health practices This position offers an engaging work environment dedicated to providing high-quality dental care while fostering professional growth.
