Job Summary Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations. You will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organized environment. Your expertise in dental terminology and procedures will be essential as you support both pediatric and general dentistry practices. What youâll do Assist dentists with chairside procedures, ensuring a comfortable experience for patients. Manage electronic medical records (EMR) using systems such as Dentrix and Eaglesoft. Perform X-ray imaging and medical imaging tasks while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Take vital signs and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their safety and comfort. Maintain infection control protocols and apply aseptic techniques during all procedures. Provide support in pediatric dentistry, helping to create a welcoming atmosphere for young patients. Collaborate with the dental receptionist to schedule appointments and manage patient flow. Document medical records accurately, including medical coding when necessary. Basic qualifications Proven experience in dental assisting with knowledge of dental terminology. Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques and anatomy knowledge. Preferred qualifications Experience with 3D scanners and prosthodontics or endodontics procedures. Previous work in a dental clinic setting, demonstrating strong infection control practices. Knowledge of medical documentation processes and familiarity with Epic systems.
