Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. You will play a crucial role in promoting oral health, educating patients, and assisting with various dental procedures. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, ensuring the highest standard of patient care. Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories. Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for patient documentation and record management Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options. Maintain infection control protocols and adhere to aseptic techniques in the clinical environment. Assist with medical imaging and documentation review to ensure accurate medical records. Stay updated on dental terminology, medical coding, and HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance. Qualifications Valid state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred; familiarity with EMR systems is a plus. Knowledge of anatomy, infection control practices, and dental assisting techniques. Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while providing excellent patient care.
